I’m back from vacation! The food in Hong Kong and Thailand is sooooo delicious! Here’s a little peek into my gluttonous trip. Growing up watching Hong Kong dramas, I had often heard references to mantis shrimp and had always wonder how it tastes. I spotted these at the restaurant swimming outside in one of the buckets of water on the way to Temple Street in Kowloon. Even though the cleanliness of this restaurant is highly questionable and the service exceedingly rude, the food is amazingly delicious! The mantis shrimp cooked in garlic, salt, and chilli tasted so juicy and the texture is like a cross between lobster and shrimp. Hmm…just staring at this picture makes me want to buy another plane ticket back.
